"Oh I forgot all about that!" ... "She Never Told Me About Hiding Money!"
It happens more often than you may think. People tuck money away and forget about it.
Perhaps it is 1967 "Expo" bills pressed into the family bible, or "mad money" taped to the underside of a dresser drawer, or bills hidden in the bottom of a plant pot, or silver dollars loaded into the hollow base of a statue. We have seen every one of these situations!
Sometimes family may be actively looking for money, but more often it is a surprise find. It was a bittersweet thrill to find a stack of Savings Bonds that were never cashed tucked in with some old letters, and at times disappointing not to find the suspected $$$ hidden by a woman with dementia. Be sure to flail pages of books, feel the inside dark corners of dressers, closets.
Use a flashlight like a spotlight - you never know what you may be showcasing!
Home Suite Home Transitions Customer Review
Having Home Suite Home Transitions help us to downsize our home and business was the best decision we could have ever made. We had a very short time period to prepare and catalogue 2 large online auctions to sell many possessions. Patti worked tirelessly and was completely committed to making sure the process went as smoothly as possible for selling possessions. Patti has a gift for being calm and seeing the bigger picture as to what needs to be done and in what time frame to accomplish it with satisfactory results. She's honest about what to expect as her years of experience have taught her, she's so organized and just a wonderful gal to work with, as is Giselle, one of her dedicated staff. We literally could not have pulled off 2 successful auctions in the time frame that we had to work with and we would like to say thank you very much! The cost was more than reasonable and was quoted beforehand.
If you ever find yourself needing help with moving, decluttering or transitioning your senior loved ones, Patti and her company is most definitely the one to call.
Thanks Patti.....until the next time.
