and perhaps later...
As the saying goes, Your home is your castle. Or perhaps it feels like an isolated island during this Covid 19 pandemic. We have been asked to self isolate, to stop all non essential activity. To Stay Home. Has this affected how you think of your home? Do you feel trapped, or content? Safe or disconnected?
I am sure there are challenges and difficulties however I also hope there is a chance to take stock of what you love about your home, and what you would like to change. Are there areas you prefer to spend your time in, or areas you avoid? Do you find you use every room in your house/apartment or that some doors remain closed, rooms untouched. Did you pull out those puzzles and games that you have kept "for a rainy day" or did they stay tucked away? Did you start working on unfinished projects, or repairs - those items you have told yourself you would get to "someday"?
Taking stock may help you realize what you will make use of in the future. Could you manage with a smaller living space, or would it drive you crazy! This exercise may help you take a realistic view toward your personal priorities and where you may spend your energy in the future - when the world opens up again -- to a new normal.
Getting Rid of Stuff and Packing Made the Difference
Thank you for all your help during my recent move!! You helped me get dif of what I didn't need and you and Denise were very efficient at packing up what I did need. Thanks, too, for the unpacking in the new apartment.
It really reduced my stress and my family stress! Getting rid of stuff made all the difference!
Thank You Again!
