Moving is Stressful!
Our Process begins with a Move Manager professional assessing the scope of the project. Projects may include all or part of, sorting possessions into what to keep, donate, sell, floor planning for furniture, packing and unpacking at the new location. The initial visit is always free of charge.
Help from family members may involve time constraints, conflicting opinions and long distance communications, which in turn may produce family friction and ultimately more stress.
HSHT staff are respectful, emotionally neutral Senior Move Managers who can keep family members connected, without the worry of family frictions. Acting as a sounding board/advocate for the senior in transition will make the process more enjoyable, more efficient and more manageable for everyone in your family.
We treat our senior clients`as we would our own parents. We address details that make the senior anxious. Details which may seem small to the adult children -- but we respect the homeowners concerns and wishes. Adult children can then focus on their career, family or other priorities without compromising their parent(s) priorities or their family relationships.
Home Suite Home Transitions have resource connections that will provide supporting services such as: house cleaning, home repairs, safe computer junk removal, and options for downsized possessions.

A few weeks later, at the request of our children, we checked out some senior residences. Again, "just in case", because we still weren't ready. Some residences did tweak some interest - we weren't seriously considering, --- were we?? Other "just in case" and "we aren't ready yet" people had put their names on waiting lists. You know, Just In Case!! As the next chapter of our lives unravelled, we suddenly became very grateful to be on that list --reality and health issues were ...Read more ...
