When working on your own, it is easy to get side tracked in the sorting/decluttering process and only shift things around!

once you can see beyond the extraneous stuff!
TIP: The best time to declutter is before you move. Why pay to move items that take up space but never get used (even if they are “just in case, or someday” items.) Keep only items that have a designated place, use and benefit. Stay focused and your true treasures will fit into the smaller area.
